Dance is music made visible

Since i was five years old, i danced. I started with once a week but that became three times a week and everyday practice at home. When my friends came over to play we made dances and performed it for our parents. So you can imagine my disappointment when i was rejected at the national ballet academy at the age of 11. I focussed on other things i liked and i even quit dancing for a year. But that didn’t took very long, when i was 15 i switched from classic ballet to modern dance and i’m still dancing once a week.
At the end of each year we have a performance. This year we danced a russian fairytale called Snegurochka. During the last rehearsal in the theather, i made this little video.

That’s a cute video!
I did ballroom dancing for a couple of years and jazz dance as well. I miss dancing as I had to quit it (it was university or dancing really) and I massively envy anyone who’s talented and ambitious enough to keep up with training!

Wow! Loved the vidio! I’ve been dancing classical ballet and tap since the age of 5. I adore dancing and find I am at peace when doing it. Loved the pictures and vidios, you are a true artist!
Love B xx

This is so lovely, I used to dance too but I never truly thought I was a good dancer, so I quit but I miss it so much! Thanks for sharing, I really loved it
